Description: As breweries continue to face new challenges in an ever changing market there continues to be no shortage of new and innovative hop products emerging as well.
This session will take a behind the scenes look at various advanced hop products and focus on the development process that went into creating these innovative extracts and novel hop products that are currently available in the market today.
Major companies in the hop industry will present on the development of one or two of their specialty products, followed by a hand-ons activity that will include smelling and tasting samples containing these products, including opportunities to meet with these industry experts and ask questions to facilitate an engaging experience.
Join this session to learn more about the how and why behind certain advanced hop products and what practical research and innovative strategies were used in the development process.

Relevance: As breweries adapt to the evolving alcoholic beverage landscape, innovative hop products are becoming increasingly available, offering opportunities to enhance production efficiency, yield, and potential cost savings. This session will explore the "how" and "why" behind these products, helping beverage producers better understand the options available on the market and their practical applications.

Brewing Summit 2025 Theme: This focus session workshop will give researchers an opportunity to discuss how they applied their unique product development process to create and validate the latest hop extracts and novel products to meet the needs of diverse beverage creators. By aligning with the Brewing Summit 2025 theme, this session will showcase the research steps behind a variety of new advanced hop products, allowing attendees to determine what products could offer solutions for them as the beverage market continues to rapidly evolve and create new spaces.

  • This session will introduce a variety of innovative hop products that are available in the market today from major companies in the industry and provide insights into their research and development process, leaving attendees with a deeper understanding of these new products.
  • Attendees will become aware of any advantages these products provide, for example, ease of use, increased efficiency and aroma, and a reduction of waste.
  • Attendees will engage in a hands-on activity with the different hop products and by the end of the session they will have a better idea of what products will work best for their beverage needs.
