Dan King is an R&D Brewer and Associate Scientist at KalHops, where he focuses primarily on customer applications, and ensuring new innovations will perform as intended in production environments. In his current role, Dan provides technical applications support to the commercial team and customers to ensure smooth integration of Advanced Hop Products into beer and beverages. Prior to KalHops, Dan managed production of a small craft brewery where he learned to love (and sometimes dread) systems troubleshooting and optimization. He currently holds a B.S. in Sustainable Brewing from Western Michigan University, and an A.S. in Chemical Technology from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Outside of work, Dan spends time on projects in his garage, listening to educational podcasts, cooking, and taking long walks with his partner Mattie and their two dogs.
