Josef Grundy is an Research and Development Analyst at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. With an M.S. in Inorganic Chemistry from Colorado State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from California State University, Chico, he combines technical expertise with hands-on brewing experience to drive data-informed decisions across cross-functional teams.

Outside of work, Josef enjoys spending time outdoors—whether it's mountain biking on local trails, hiking through Northern California’s wilderness, or working in his garden. He values time with his family, especially long walks with his dog and playful afternoons with his young daughter. His personal passions for nature and curiosity fuel the creativity and balance he brings to both his work and home life.
