Zach Gaines is the Commercial Director at Proximity Malt. He first joined Proximity in a procurement role, developing malting barley programs and managing producer relationships in Mountain West and Mid Atlantic supply sheds.
Zach started his career with Anheuser-Busch InBev in the Busch Ag barley breeding program. He eventually moved to a brewing management role at ABI's Los Angeles brewery where he worked in the brewhouse, fermentation departments.
Prior to joining the Proximity Malt team, Zach spent 10 years working for the French breeding company, Groupe Limagrain, where he managed commercial operations in North America for wheat and malting barley development.
