Alejandro joined HAAS in September 2019 to dive deep into the fascinating world of hop science. His brewing adventure began back in 2010, when he and his brother started experimenting as homebrewers. While finishing his degree in Food Chemistry, he honed his skills at a brewpub in Mexico City, where passion met practice. He later helped bring Cervecería de Colima to life on Mexico’s sunny Pacific coast. As Head Brewer, he played a key role in turning it into one of the country’s fastest-growing craft breweries, leading his team to win medals at the World Beer Cup and Copa Cervezas de América. In 2016, Alejandro became the first Advanced Cicerone® in Latin America and completed the Diploma in Brewing in 2023.
