Ben Stanwood obtained B.S. in microbiology from Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado. After spending years testing food products for pathogens Ben’s love of beer led him to Shakopee, Minnesota where he is the microbiologist for the Rahr Technical Center. Here he supports all things micro for the wide range of RahrBSG business units. This includes quality work with small scale fermentations, brewery micro support, and research on grain and malt based yeast and bacteria populations.
